LAKE CHARLES, LA. (THECOUNT) — Kyrin Pete, of Lake Charles, LA, has been identified as the teen struck and killed while walking along a Lake Charles roadway early Thanksgiving morning.

Louisiana man, Jacob Ryan Hebert, of Lafayette, has been arrested over the fatal collision.
The crash is still under investigation.
Toxicology samples are being analyzed.
News outlets reported that Kyrin Pete of Lake Charles was walking with two other people when he was struck by a driver. The boy was taken to a hospital where he died. Louisiana State Police say 33-year-old Jacob Ryan Hebert of Lafayette has been arrested and charged with vehicular homicide and driving while impaired. source
It was not known if Herbert has an attorney yet who could comment on the charges.
