It’s 100 percent false — Malik is alive and well.
The rumor, which comes hours before April Fools Day, was fueled in part by a phony, photoshopped “BBC” story about Malik allegedly being found dead in a hotel room. source
A similar fake BBC story tricked people into believing Lady Gaga died back in 2011.
