Boeing 787 ‘Dreamliner’ jets have all been grounded following incidents involving battery failures and here is a meme of one of those burned out units sitting next to a replacement.

The meme displayed, by the Japan Transport Safety Board, shows the main lithium-ion battery that basically powers onboard computers for the entire aircraft. This one was removed from a Boeing 787 which made an emergency landing on Wednesday at Takamatsu airport in Takamatsu, Japan.
Next time I go overseas I’m driving! Sure it’s a little hard on the windshield wipers…
