The very popular 79-year-old magazine “Newsweek” is ending it’s physical ‘print’ magazine for good.
The formal announcement wasn’t supposed to made until September, but the cat’s out of the bag now since the magazine’s owner still thinks that mail is only delivered physically by a man and/or homing pigeon.
IAC/InterActiveCorp (IACI) Chairman Barry Diller told Bloomberg news outlet, “A plan to move Newsweek to an online-only publication will be announced as early as September. The transition to online from hard print will take place. We’re examining all of our options.”
But you just made the announcement! Anyway, as of now, you can see some Newsweek blogs on TheDailyBeast.com where lots of other people like Ashley Judd like to contributetheir 2 cents.
