It sounds believable that a pap sprung from the bush and spooked the horse Madonna was riding, causing the beast to buck the vintage pop singer to the ground, but did it really happen?
Thomas Hinton, the pap in question firmly denies the claim brought against him stating publically that he was not even present when Madge took the tumble, Hinton said to TMZ, “If I had startled the horse, I would have gotten pictures!” Sounds like a good defense.

Madonna’s reps squarely blamed Hinton saying “The accident occurred when the horse Madonna was riding was startled by paparazzi who jumped out of the bushes to photograph the singer who was visiting friends on Eastern Long Island over the weekend.“
Like a game of poker we will all need to wait and see how far Madonna plays this hand. If the “Like a virgin” singer was simply embarrassed and looking for someone to blame then no charges will be filed and she will fold, however, if Hinton really did cause the animal to throw the singer then it will be “all in” for Madonna. Hinton may want to prepare to pony-up. Either way it’s all horseplay.
