    Jeremy Piven “Sushi Gate” Settled

98411 jeremy piven as ari gold on hbos entourage Jeremy Piven “Sushi Gate” SettledAfter, well almost forever, we have a conclusion to Jeremy Piven’s Sushi brouhaha.

An arbitrator cleared Piven of any wrongdoing in connection with a dispute levied against him when he quit “Speed the Plow” after being diagnosed with mercury poisoning after Piven said he ate too much sushi.

“I’m pleased with the outcome of the arbitration and to be completely vindicated in this matter based on the facts and the medical evidence,” said the Entourage star in a statement.

Many believe Piven claim he was sick was just a fish story in an effort to get released from his gig in New York production of David Mamet’s Broadway play “Speed the Plow.”

Testimony from Piven’s doctors swayed the arbitrator enough to give Piven the win, sighting Piven’s 3-day stay in the hospital after eating all that mercury filled fish.

Even though Piven prevailed, something tells me he wont be invited back to Broadway anytime soon and for that matter, to sushi dinner either.

    Jeremy Piven Hates Chris Kattan

    Ill end you Kattan

    "I'll end you Kattan"

Seems like Entourage’s Jeremy Piven can’t take a joke.

The actor was recently backstage at Alexa Chung’s show.  Fellow actor Chris Kattan was also there.  The showdown began when Kattan asked Piven “So, what are you here to promote, your Broadway play?”

Oooooooooooh, burn!  We all know that Piven had to drop out of his Broadway play Speed The Plow recently because of mercury poisoning (a sickness I still call BS on).

Anyway, Piven didn’t take it well.  “Well, what are you here to promote? Mango?” Piven shot back.  After that, the feud was on!  Lots of screaming and slamming ensued.  You can read more about it here but here’s the jist: Piven is a wee bit sensitive when it comes to his career.    He’s also sensitive when it comes to sushi.

    Don’t hate me, Jeremy Piven.

    Jeremy Piven Loves Yoga

Ari Gold, a.k.a. Jeremy Piven, has opened up to Men’s Fitness magazine about yoga, his mercury poisoning incident and, of course, being a fit male.

On yoga: “I loved the way it made me feel. It opens you out and you get great twang. It’s incredible. Ari’s got some quick-twitch anger, and to do that repeatedly you have to come from a place of stillness.  It´s so funny because I´m naturally kind of calm.”

On the mercury poisoning:  “I think it was nature´s way of saying you’ve got to stop.  The feeling I can equate it with is when you’ve slept for an hour but just continue to keep going.”

He says he hasn’t tried fish in nine months because of the diagnosis so we know he’s being careful. And while I made fun of Piven after the diagnosis and subsequent quitting of his play, I’m fairly impressed by this photo.  Piven’s looking tough.
