Oprah Winfrey will launch the 24th season of her daytime talk show Sept. 14 with an exclusive interview with legendary singer Whitney Houston. Yes, Whitney Houston!

Oprah is calling this upcoming show “the most anticipated music interview of the decade.”

Whitney has been in hiding out in a cave somewhere for like 10 years! Bobby Brown seemed to have wrecked her career in every way possible, and it looks like this Oprah interview will be Whit’s big new beginning.

Lil Wayne is gonna be a daddy twice this year by 2 different women!! Singer Nivea Hamilton and model/actress Lauren London of “ATL” and the upcoming “I love You Beth Cooper”.

Man, Lil Wayne you are having the best year ever! Congratulations to Wayne for his growing family. I hope that for Christmas he gets an industrial size  mega box of condoms from Costco. Adam Lambert is officially out of the closet!

On June 1, 2009 President Obama declared June L(esbian) G(ay) B(isexual) T(ransexual) or LGBT pride month in the United States. Then 9 days later, American Idol runner up Adam Lambert officially outed himself as a gay man. Gasp. Well I, for one, never saw this coming. After months of speculation Adam Lambert decided to officially out himself as a gay male to Rolling Stone magazine. “I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I’m gay,” Lambert tells the magazine. “I’ve been living in Los Angeles for eight years as a gay man.”

In the interview, Adam talks about the crush he had on Kris Allen, American Idol winner, when he first saw him. “I was like, ‘Oh, s, they put me with the cute guy,’ “Lambert recalls of bunking in the Idol mansion with Allen. “Distracting! He’s the one guy that I found attractive in the whole group on the show: nice, nonchalant, pretty and totally my type except that he has a wife. I mean, he’s open-minded and liberal, but he’s definitely 100 percent straight.”

Adam Lambert, possibly the real American Idol, was caught by TMZ yesterday in West Hollywood  getting a manicure. Adam, whose sexuality has been spotlighted in the media, is allegedly going to come out of the closet on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. Kudos to you Adam for doing things on your own terms and for maintaining those toes, becuase there is nothing worse than a pair of raggedy feet.

Jennifer Hudson was amongst many celebrity guests who came out to the Beverly Hilton yesterday for a Democratic Fundraiser.  The event raised over $2 million dollars for the the democratic party. Over 1,000 people came out to hear Pres. Obama speak and to enjoy featured performances by Hudson and Earth, Wind and Fire.

Now it clearly looks like she has been “sperminated”, in the words of Perez Hilton.  She’s not trying to hide it but won’t confirm it, which makes me anxious. Is is a baby in there or a Dominos Bread Bowl? Somebody help me out here.

Rumor Has It: Britney to Perform on American Idol Finale Wednesday

Rumors are flying around that Britney Spears may be performing on Wednesday’s American Idol Finale.

American Idol Producers will neither ‘confirm’ or ‘deny that Britney Spears will perform on this Wednesday’s American Idol finale. RyanSeacrest.com does not mention that Britney will be performing.

She has done many surprise performances in the past. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if she does perform.

Oh wouldn’t it be a dream come true if Britney and Adam did a hot number together!?

Shock: American Idol’s Allison Iraheta Eliminated Tonight

We wouldn’t have guessed that Allison Iraheta would be cut out of the 4 remaining contestants! The red and purple haired 17 year old high school rocker chick was the only girl left out of the 4. From judging last night’s ‘not so good’ and ‘weak in the rock department’ performances by Kris Allen and Danny Gokey, we’d thought for sure Allison was going to make it through tonight. As for sir Adam Lambert staying, that’s already a given We sure love him! Slash does too!

Allison and Adam’s duet of “Slow Ride” knocked everyone’s’ socks off over Kris and Danny’s duet of “Renegade.” Kris and Danny just didn’t have the strong rock charisma like Adam and Allison’s “Perfect Marriage” duet.
Her farewell performance tonight on the elimination episode was a total tearjerker. She’s so talented, young and ‘real.’ She’s just a cool girl. Almost everyone including Allison started tearing up for her encore performance of Janis Joplin’s “Cry Baby.” It was on fire! We’re pretty sure we saw Ryan Seacrest fighting back the tears! Maybe Simon too! The judges did not feel that she should leave. Unfortunately, America did not give Allison enough votes to keep her on the show. We predict her album will be out in the Fall.

Oh and Paula Abdul’s performance was hot. She sang her new single “I’m Just Here for the Music.” Paula really displayed some killer dance moves. Especially the few parts where her male dancers picked her up into the air! She was on her A game tonight! So what if she lip synced. Britney always does!

No Doubt had a hot performance singing their first big song to fame, “I’m Just a Girl.” Gwen ran all over the stage and into the audience. Her high energy took away from her vocals but it was still super fun. It’s great to see her back with the band. They are back to their original style like when they first got huge notoriety. No Doubt’s tour starts next week in Las Vegas.

Simon Cowell To Quit American Idol

Simon Cowell spews a bunch of horseshit when he tells the Daily Mirror: “I can’t imagine not doing ‘Britains Got Talent’ and I can’t imagine not doing ‘X Factor.’ But I guess America is more likely to go because I have got one year under contract. Maybe that will be the end.”

Can we imagine American Idol with just Randy, Paula and Kara? I bet you the show will tank if Simon leaves.
