He’s okay but Michael Phelps was in a bit of a fender bender last night.
Michael was in his home town of Baltimore when he got into a three-car accident. Sources say that either Phelps or another vehicle ran a stoplight, causing the crash. They then hit a third, parked car.
Reports also say that Phelps’ car received heavy damage and that a woman involved was taken to the hospital, though her injuries don’t appear serious. Michael didn’t request medical assistance and seemed fine after the accident.
And before you even ask, drugs and alcohol had nothing to do with it. The police say a field test wasn’t even considered.

Shaq Vs. Phelps a no brainer
Shaq’s new reality show pits the basketball superman against other sports greats in what will easily prove to be a fun watch. Michael Phelps, the pot smoking, smoking fast, Olympic superstar, will be the Shaq’s first opponent, but not on the basketball court, in the pool.
Although “Shaq Vs.” surely is a “Wouldn’t miss it for the world reality romp,” it’s not hard for me to prognosticate a winner, that is IF it ends up being a straight-up swim-off.
Even suspended in water, Shaq, at 300 pounds and over 7 feet tall, would be a brick and in a contest with the swimming swan Phelps, it would be a blood bath, however, if some shenanigans are implemented to hinder Phelps, like, Phelps must swim with 3 supermodels on his back to make up for the weight difference, then anything is possible.

Michael Phelps Showed off more than his swimming skills at his first race since his dazzling 8 gold metal winning streak at the Olympics. As Phelps bent over on the starting blocks, a visible hole ripped in his suit.
It must not have rattled Phelps who managed to finish first in the 200-meter freestyle at the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center, in Charlotte, NC. Phelps later, in a new pair of shorts, also placed first in the 100 butterfly.
Michael appeared at the lower-level swim meet with a bodyguard, showing up to much fanfare.
Despite starting training only 8 weeks ago, and despite Phelps’s wardrobe malfunction it seems he is back on track.

First Wrigley and now, Usmagazine is reporting that Chris Brown has been fired from the “Got Milk” campaign.
Brown seemed like the perfect celebrity to wear the milk mustache for the squeaky-clean ad campaign, however, his recent arrest for allegedly beating girlfriend Rihanna has got the Milk Board jumping ship.
Crying over spilt milk
“The Milk Mustache campaign is taking the allegations against Chris Brown very seriously,” a company rep told Usmagazine.com. “We are very proud and protective of the image of the Milk Mustache campaign and the responsible message it sends to teens. Mr. Brown’s ad was launched last fall and is scheduled to end this week.”
It was last week, Michael Phelps also lost an endorsement with the Kellogg company after being pictured smoking a bong.

Is sheriff Leon Lott giving Michael Phelps special treatment? 8 people have been arrested at the same house that pictured Phelps smoking a bong, but not Phelps. The cops came in, guns blazing, search warrant in hand, arresting seven on possession and one on distribution.
The now famous bong, was also recovered. The owner (who was not at the party) had it listed it on eBay for $100,000. He was also among the arrested.

Olympic phenom and party boy, Michael Phelps is now officially suspended from competitive swimming for three months, “we decided to send a strong message to Michael because he disappointed so many people, particularly the hundreds of thousands of USA Swimming-member kids who look up to him as a role model and a hero,” USA Swimming said in a statement.
Kellogg has also dropped the pothead as a sponsor! announcing they would not be renewing his contract.

If the pot charge sticks, he will receive a mandatory 4 year suspension from participating in the Olympics. Can you say “Dope?”

Phelps has released the following statement: “I engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment. I’m 23 years old and despite the successes I’ve had in the pool, I acted in a youthful and inappropriate way, not in a manner people have come to expect from me. For this, I am sorry. I promise my fans and the public it will not happen again.”
