CALCASIEU PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Tyrel Doyle Thompson, of Starks, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday night fatal motorcycle crash in Calcasieu Parish.
Ty Thompson, 41, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Starks Saturday night.

According to reports, Thompson was operating a motorcycle on Alligator Park Road in Starks, when for unknown reasons, the bike came into contact with a tree around 10 p.m. Saturday.
Thompson was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
