HARTFORD COUNTY, CT. (THECOUNT) — Jose Cotto, of Windsor Locks, Connecticut, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday night fatal motorcycle crash in Hartford County.
Cotto, 23, was killed in motorcycle crash involving two passenger vehicles late Wednesday night in South Windsor.

According to reports, Cotto was operating. Harley Davidson motorcycle on Interstate 291 near Exit 4, when the bike went down around 11 p.m. Wednesday. Cotto, who was ejected from the bike, was then run over by a Honda Civic, operated by a 22-year-old Hartford man. Cotto was then thrown into the path of a Ford Explorer.
Cotto was transported to at an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The Honda driver and his three passengers were transported to Hartford Hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the Ford was not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
