PLYMOUTH COUNTY, MA. (THECOUNT) — Liedson Monteiro, of Brockton, Massachusetts, has been identified as the teen fatally shot Saturday in Plymouth County.
Monteiro, 16, was shot dead while attending a house party in Brockton early Saturday morning.

According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired at a residence on Sprague Street in Brockton around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. When they arrived, Monteiro was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Monteiro was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.
An investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
