JEFFERSON PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Brandon Dell, of Marrero, Louisiana, has been identified as the pedestrian in a Thursday night fatal vehicle strike in Jefferson Parish.
Dell, 38, was killed after he was struck by a vehicle near Marrero Thursday night.

According to reports, Dell was on-foot in the area of US-90 Business and Garden Road, when he was struck by a passing Nissan pickup truck.
Dell was pronounced deceased on scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
