BARBOUR COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Eric Russaw, of Eufaula, Alabama, has been identified as the victim of a Friday night fatal shooting in Barbour County.

Russaw, 48, was shot and killed near Eufaula Saturday night.

According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired on Wall Street around 10:30 p.m. Friday night. When they arrived, Russaw was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Russaw, originally from Abbeville, Alabama, was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.

The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
