SUFFOLK COUNTY, MA. (THECOUNT) — Alan Lee Washington, of Roxbury, Massachusetts, has been identified as the suspect in a Tuesday night murder of a woman in Suffolk County.
Washington, 71, was charged with murder after police found a woman dead inside a Roxbury apartment complex on Tuesday evening.

According to reports, police responded to a call of a person down at an indoor crime scene at 1990 Columbus Ave, Unit 155 in Roxbury. On arrival, officers located an unidentified adult female victim suffering from apparent traumatic injuries around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The female victim was pronounced deceased on scene.
Washington was later taken into custody and charged with murder.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
