UNION COUNTY, IA. (THECOUNT) — Alexis Rounds, of Creston, Iowa, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday morning vehicle crash in Union County.
“Lexi” Rounds, 18, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Creston Tuesday morning.

According to reports, Rounds was operating a Jeep Wrangler on U.S. 34 in Creston, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then came into contact with a semi-tractor.
Weather conditions may have contributed to the crash, according to officials.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
