SHAWNEE COUNTY, KS. (THECOUNT) — Christopher McMillon, of Topeka, Kansas, has been identified as the victim found fatally shot Saturday in his Shawnee County residence.
McMillon, 38, was found shot to death at his home in Topeka Late Saturday morning.

According to reports, officials were performing a welfare check at a residence near SW 3rd St and SW Polk St in Topeka, when McMillon was discovered inside suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
McMillon was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.
The Topeka Police Department is calling the the incident a suspicious death.
The deadly incident remains under investigation.
