POLK COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Kyle Creedon, of Winter Haven, Florida, has been identified as the bicyclist in a fatal Jeep-versus-BMX collision Wednesday morning in Polk County.
Creedon, 25, was killed when a bicycle he was riding was struck by a vehicle near Lakeland Wednesday morning.

According to reports, Creedon was operating a BMX bicycle on K-Ville Ave near Fields Road in Lakeland, when he was struck from behind by a Jeep Cherokee, operated by 60-year-old Bruce Thornhill of Winter Haven around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Creedon was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma.

It is unclear if anyone was cited at the scene.
