MONTCALM COUNTY, MI. (THECOUNT) — Alex Richards, of Hubbardston, Michigan, has been identified as the victim in a fatal vehicle crash in Montcalm County Sunday morning.
Richards, 26, was killed in a Sunday morning crash that also seriously injured another individual in Crystal Township.

According to reports, Richards was traveling in the rear of an SUV along with two others at the Crystal Motor Speedway, when the vehicle accelerated ejecting the passengers around 5 a.m. Sunday.
Richards was pronounced dead of injuries suffered in the incident.
A unnamed 26-year-old man of Vestaburg sustained serious injuries and was transported an area hospital.
A third victim, a 25-year-old woman of Sheridan, was not injured.
The 30-year-old man from Ionia, was taken into custody for operating while intoxicated causing death. He is being held at the Montcalm County Jail.
