VENTURA COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — Daniel F Figueroa Sr., of Santa Barbara, California, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday multi-motorcycle crash in Ventura County.
Figueroa, 42, was killed and two other riders injured, in a triple-motorcycle crash involving a vehicle Sunday afternoon near Ojai.

According to reports, Figueroa was operating a Ducati motorcycle along with two other riders on Highway 33 near Ojai, when Figueroa’s bike came into contact with a Jeep Grand Cherokee, operated by 39-year-old Philip Stewart of San Francisco.
The other riders, 26-year-old Hector Romero-Gutierrez of Santa Barbara and 31-year-old Edgar Hernandez of Ventura, took evasive action and wrecked around 12:15 p.m. Sunday.
Romero-Gutierrez and Hernandez were transported to area hospitals with unknown injuries.
Figueroa was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The condition of the Jeep driver was not provided.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
