SPARTANBURG COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Jalen Iyan McNeil of Spartanburg, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim fatally shot Friday night.
McNeil, 18, was shot and killed Friday night in Spartanburg County.

According to reports, McNeil was found suffering from at least one fatal gunshot wound near the Victoria Gardens apartment complex, located at, 695 Howard St in Spartanburg, Friday night around 8 p.m.
No suspect or motive information was provided by police.
The deadly incident remains under investigation.
