MARION COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Tyler Brightman of Marshall, Texas, has been identified as the drowning victim in Marion County on Monday evening.
Brightman, 21, died after drowning while swimming at Lake O’ the Pines near Jefferson on Monday evening.

According to reports, officials received a report of a possible drowning at Lake O’ the Pines around 4 p.m. Monday. When they arrived, the body of Brightman was recovered near the Bushy Creek Campground.
Brightman was pronounced dead at the scene of drowning.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
