POLK COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Justin Tyrone Alford, of Bartow, Florida, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash in Polk County Thursday night.
Alford, 22, was killed in a single-vehicle crash that injured three others late Thursday night near Lakeland.

According to reports, Khristian Anderson, 22, of Bartow, was operating a Honda Civic traveling on Ewell Road near Pinewood Village Circle East in Lakeland, when the vehicle sweared to avoid debris in the roadway and lost control before midnight Thursday. The vehicle then exited the roadway before making contact with a fence and a utility pole guy-wire.
Alford, who was partially ejected during the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Passengers, 24-year-old Avis Omega Williams and 21-year-old Lalman Rabb, both of Bartow, were transported to area hospitals with non life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
