MOORE, OK. (THECOUNT) — Kolby Crum, a Moore High School student involved in a fatal early February vehicle crash, has died from injuries sustained in the hit-and-run, say Saturday morning reports.

Facebook page “Prayers for Kolby and Moore War Run,” announced the passing of the Moore High School senior.

A second Moore Public Schools student pedestrian died of injuries suffered after struck February 4 by a vehicle operated by 57-year-old Mac Leroy Townsend in Moore Oklahoma.

The crash also took the life of fellow seniors Yuridia Martinez and Rachel Freeman.

According to police, officers responded at about 3:30 p.m. Monday to a collision involving pedestrians near Moore High School, near Main Street and Eastern Avenue.

Police said a red pickup truck, operated by Townsend, struck six students, now killing two. The students were training for cross country running at the time of the tragic collision.

According to officials Tuesday morning, two students, Kolby Crum and Yurudia Martinez, remain in critical condition. Two others, Joseph White and Shiloh Hutchinson, are said to be in fair condition.

Another victim, Ashton Baza, has been discharged from the hospital.

Townsend was arrested on multiple charges including first-degree manslaughter.

Moore police and officials with Moore Public Schools will hold a news conference at 11 a.m. Tuesday to provide updates, reports AugustaChronicle.
