LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL. (THECOUNT) — Angel Corchado, of Boynton Beach., Florida, a mixed martial arts fighter, has been identified as the victim killed in a single-vehicle crash in Lake Worth Beach, Florid Saturday night.
“El Jefe” Corchado, 33, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in South Florida, officials said.

According to reports, Corchado was operating a vehicle, exiting a Fort Worth Beach highway, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle made contact with a utility pole.
Corchado was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the violent crash.
The fighter was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol said blood alcohol test results were pending.
The MMA fighter and instructor also aka, “The Boss” resided in Boynton Beach.
The professional fighter was a trainer at Combat Club, an MMA gym in Lantana, Florida, where he taught his last class Friday. Corchado was originally from New York City, reports DothanEagle.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
