6ix9ine Gets 2 Years Jail

BUSHWICK, NY. (THECOUNT) — Rapper Tekashi 69 AKA 6ix9ine (real name Daniel Hernandez) was sentenced to ]24 months in prison, with five years of supervised release. He was also ordered to complete 300 hours of community service when he gets out and pay a fine of $35,000. The rumors that Tekashi would be going free today turned out to be false, Heavy is reporting Wednesday.

The rappers sentencing hearing started at 10 AM in the southern district of New York courthouse. A victim that identified herself as “LL” provided surprise emotional testimony at Tekashi’s hearing, arguing that he should remain in prison. “I’m hurt, I’m upset. July 16 [2018] I was just an innocent bystander, shot in the foot. The bullet could have hit me in my head. [sobs]” according to reporter Matthew Russell Lee. “At the end of the day, he was the mastermind. I have bruises on me. I have to look at myself. I just want an apology.” She continued, “It took a lot of me to come here. I want to face him. I want him to know, He hurt me. He hurt me!”

Prosecutors reportedly played the wiretapped phone conversation during the trial today, XXLMag is reporting on Thursday.

Rapper Tekahi 6ix9ine has reportedly identified Jones as being part of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, XXLMag is reporting on Thursday.

6ix9ine took the stand for day three of his testimony against former associates Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack. According to a series tweets from Inner City Press reporter Matthew Russell Lee, the rapper was asked who Jim Jones is, and he called Jim a “retired rapper” and said he is a part of Nine Trey.

“He’s a retired rapper,” 6ix9ine reportedly told prosecutors after they asked him who Jim Jones was. Tekashi then replied by saying “yes” when asked the question, “If [Jim Jones] a member of Nine Trey?” reported XXLMag.

Several days after 6ix9ine began his testimony in the trial of fellow Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods members Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack and Anthony “Harv” Ellison, alleged audio of the rapper’s testimony has surfaced online.

According to reporter Matthew Russell Lee on Twitter, the rapper alleged that Trippie was once a member of a gang, reports xxlmag.

“Trippie Redd was part of Five Nine Brims, Hernandez testifies,” writes Lee, who refers to Tekashi by his government name of Daniel Hernandez.

That bit of Lee’s report arrived in the midst of Tekashi’s testimony, which has thus far recounted the birth of his connection to the Brooklyn-based gang, Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

For his testimony, which has been speculated about for weeks now, the rapper is expected to discuss allegedly being kidnapped by Ellison and both Ellison and Mack’s alleged gang activity. He is also expected to testify that his role in the Nine Trey gang was to “make money for the gang and distribute that money among Nine Trey members.”

6ix9ine is taking the stand in court, but it is unknown whether his family members are present. According to previous reports, the rapper’s family was not planning to show up for the testimony in court because they feared for their lives.

6ix9ine is being accused of faking his own kidnapping, ala Jussie Smollett, in an effort to boost his new album sales.

XXL is reporting Friday that a defense attorney for one of the men accused of participating in the July 2018 abduction and robbery says it was all orchestrated by the rapper himself to hype his album release.

“No robbery or kidnapping or assault happened,” said Devereaux Cannick, who works as an attorney for Tekashi’s alleged kidnapper Anthony “Harv” Ellison. “He was about to drop another album…gotta get that buzz up. That’s how he makes money.”

Ellison, known as “Harv” among the Nine Trey Bloods, is accused of the crime alongside fellow Nine Trey member Aljermiah Mack. Both men have pleaded not guilty and will go to trial over the matter on Sept. 16. Recently filed court documents suggest that 6ix9ine will testify against them.

Connick also claims that the car used to kidnap 6ix9ine was wired by the government ahead of time, which would mean the whole encounter was recorded.
