Sodus, NY. (THECOUNT) — Gerard Montalvo has been identified as the victim killed in a two-vehicle crash near Sodus NY on Monday, according to reports.
Montalvo, 22, was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Route 104 in Sodus, near the Sodus Country Store, Monday evening.

According to Tuesday morning reports, Montalvo was operating a vehicle traveling on Route 104 in Sodus after 6:30 p.m., when for unknown reasons, his vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing traffic.
The vehicles then collided head-on with another vehicle near the Country Store Mobil gas station.
Montalvo was pronounced dead on the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the other car was treated by medical personnel and released.
The Sheriff’s Office has not yet determined what caused Montalvo’s vehicle to cross to the other side of 104, reports 13WHAM.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
