CHICAGO, IL. (THECOUNT) — A man is critically injured after falling from a balcony during Thursday night’s Greensky Bluegrass performance at the Chicago Theatre, according to Friday reports.

Police said the near-fatal incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. Thursday when an unidentified 33-year-old man fell to the basement level of the theater.

The man suffered severe head trauma and was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition, reports WGN.

The victim has not yet been identified.
