PADUCAH, KY. (THECOUNT) — Dr. Clint Hill has been identified as the victim killed in plane crash in Paducah, Kentucky, on Thursday, according to Friday morning reports.

Hill, 49, was piloting a plane when he was killed in a crash in Paducah Thursday night.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the pilot as being Hill.

Hill was an orthopaedic spine surgeon at The Orthopaedic Institute in western Kentucky, reports WPSD.

The plane went down not far from Barkley Regional Airport around 7:26 p.m.

McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies are currently on the scene of the crash as of Friday morning, November 1.

Investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are expected to arrive to assist in the investigation.
