HIGH POINT, NC. (THECOUNT) — Deanthony Little has been identified as the victim found shot in the head in High Point, NC on Monday, according to reports.

“HøødRìxh Déè” Little, 17, was killed and two other people suffered gunshot wounds in a fatal shooting in High Point on Monday.

Police responded to a call of shots fired around 10 p.m. Monday in the area of Brentwood Street & Nathan Hunt Drive, in High Point, NC. When they arrived they discovered Little laying in a pool of blood suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Police determined that seven shots were fired during the deadly incident.

A red vehicle was spotted fleeing the scene.

Police and fire officials rendered aid until EMS arrived.

Little was transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.

Khasi L. Gladden and Kameron L. Turner, also of High Point, suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot injuries, reports MyFox8.

Detectives believe that this was not a random incident and that the people involved knew each other.

High Point police have released no other suspect information.
