The Benton County Sheriff’s Office and FBI conducted the search in Arkansas, where her body was found.
Pearson, who was armed with an AR-15 assault rifle was reportedly on his way to Legends Outlets on Village West Parkway, after killing his wife.
Kansas City, Kansas police shot and killed Pearson who they say was heavily armed Tuesday morning. Police say he shot at them after telling a hotel manager he had killed his wife and was headed to Legends Outlets.
