GARDEN GROVE, CA. (THECOUNT) — Police in Orange County, California are investigating a series of stabbings, including one at an apartment complex in Garden Grove and another at a Santa Ana 7-Eleven on Wednesday.

Officials say they are trying to determine if the stabbings are related.

Information on the victims was not immediately made available, but one body appeared to be lying on the ground at one scene and paramedics were seen performing CPR on a different man at the 7-Eleven, reports KABC7.

One person was seen handcuffed and talking to officers near the 7-Eleven but it was not known if he was considered a suspect.

News helicopters showed a large police presence descending on the complex, located in the 12000 block of Jentges Avenue.

Garden Grove police were also investigating a separate stabbing that left a 62-year-old woman dead in her apartment. The victim’s son is a person of interest in the case.

It’s unknown whether the stabbings are connected.
