GREENSBORO, NC. (THECOUNT) — James Cashier of Greensboro, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim shot Friday night in Greensboro, according to officials.
Cashier, 31, was was involved in a fatal shooting that occurred before 9:30 p.m. in Greensboro, reports say Saturday morning.

Greensboro police responded to a call of shots fired in the 700 block of Watkins Street. Upon arrival, Cashier was discovered suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
It is unclear if the victim died on the scene or if he was transported to an area hospital where he later died on gunshot injuries.
Police said they believe this was a domestic situation and there is no danger to the public, reports MyFox8 on Saturday morning.
According to social media, Cashier is originally from Syracuse, New York. He worked as the executive chef at Sweet Basil’s Catering, according to Facebook.
