SALEM, OR. (THECOUNT) — Dennis Richardson, Oregon Secretary of State, has passed away after a battle with cancer.
Oregon state officials say, Richardson, 69, died at around 9 p.m. Tuesday at his home surrounded by family and friends, reported KATU Wednesday.

According to Wikipedia, Dennis Michael Richardson was an American lawyer, businessman, and politician.
He was the 26th and current Secretary of State of Oregon.
Richardson was from Central Point, Oregon and served six terms in the Oregon House of Representatives as a member of the Oregon Republican Party.
