FAIR OAKS, OK. (THECOUNT) — Zachary Helms has been identified as the victim in a Fair Oaks I-44 crash involving a pickup truck and a semi-trailer Sunday night.
EMS crews responded to reports of an accident involving a semi-box trailer and pick-up truck on the Creek Turnpike near I-44 and 412 eastbound late Sunday night, reports Fox23.

Upon arrival, first responders located victims injured in a pickup truck that rear-ended the semi-box trailer and continued until it became lodged underneath the rig, according to Fox23
According to reports, Helms and an unidentified 9-year-old passenger, were transported to a local hospital where Helms was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the violent crash.
The condition of the youth was not provided by officials.
The investigation into the cause of the crash continues.
