DAYTON, OH. (THECOUNT) — Shawn Reuber, of Huber Heights, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a fatal vehicle shooting in Dayton late Sunday night, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

Reuber, 42, was discovered shot after police responded to the 100 block area of North Garland Avenue on a call of shots fired, whio is reporting.

A male victim was discovered suffering from gunshot injuries while seated in a parked vehicle.

Reuber was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.

A female person of interest was found a few blocks away with a handgun, officials said.

Homicide detectives were also called to the scene to continue the investigation.
