Officials said 18-year-old Kayson Toliver was killed and two other teens were injured in a triple shooting at the home. The second teen, 16-year-old Kloee Toliver, died around 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 6th. Eight people’s lives were saved through donation of her organs. The third teen also shot is no longer in the hospital.

Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office said they got a 911 call around 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 1, and responded to a home near Highway 56 and 3860 Road.

Deputies took Amy Hall, the mother of the teens, into custody after a high-speed chase that ended in Okmulgee. Officials said a deputy tried to pull over a vehicle on Highway 56 near Okmulgee Lake when the driver failed to yield and reached speeds of near 100 mph for several miles. source

In the affidavit released by officials, Hall allegedly admitted to shooting Kayson Toliver in the head while he was asleep. She then shot Kloee Toliver in the head while the victim was in bed. A 14-year-old who was sleeping in the same room woke up and ran to the bathroom after Hall allegedly shot at her. The teen then came out and took the gun from Hall. Hall told officials she left the house after that.

When pressed for a motive, Hall reportedly said she was trying to “save” them from alleged abuse by their father. She indicated to investigators that she intended to kill the children and herself.

Hall faces one count of first-degree murder and two counts of shooting with intent to kill. Her charges are expected to be amended following her daughter’s death.
