MEIGS COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Elizabeth Hursey, from Elon, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Friday morning crash in Meigs County, Ohio.
Hursey, 18, was named as the teenager killed following a crash involving a vehicle and a semi-tractor in Reedsville, OH, early Friday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The deadly crash occurred on OH-7 near Success Road, in Reedsville, Meigs County, OH near milepost 21 around 4:30 a.m. as Hursey and Dylan Wilkens, 25, were traveling in a 2018 Nissan Sentra. Wilkens was listed as the driver and Hursey as the passenger.
Wilkens, also from Elon, was transported via helicopter to an area hospital with incapacitating injuries.
Both were wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.
A woman from Hurricane was in the other vehicle. Marion Lovejoy, 64, was not injured. She was wearing a seat belt. Troopers say Lovejoy was driving a 2001 Freightliner. Investigators say Wilkens was heading north when he drove left of center and struck Lovejoy’s left rear trailer axles. source
