LOAMI, IL. (THECOUNT) — Margie M. Cloyd, of Loami, Illinois, has been identified as the victim killed after being shot in the leg Friday.
Cloyd, 49, was identified as the victim by the Sangamon County Coroner, who said the details surrounding the death are still being investigated by the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Department.

Cloyd was found dead in her home on September 21. At this time, the details surrounding the event are still being investigated by the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Department. source
Cloyd was pronounced dead at the scene.
There does not appear to be a danger to the community as the incident appeared to all take place in the household, authorities said.

Loami is a village in Sangamon County, Illinois, United States. The population was 804 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Springfield, Illinois Metropolitan Statistical Area.
