HOT SPRINGS, MT. (THECOUNT) — The two people who died in a State 28 car crash on Saturday near Plains, have been identified as Hot Springs residents, Gavin Armstrong, Jr., and Jessica Timlick.
Timlick and Armstrong, both 35, had recently relocated to the area, according Sanders County Deputy Coroner Greg Davis, who also stated, alcohol, drugs and speed were all believed factors in the double-fatal crash.

The Montana Highway Patrol says that at around 12:45 a.m., the couple in a Jeep Grand Cherokee were westbound on Montana Highway 28 when the driver failed to negotiate a turn. The driver then over-corrected and the vehicle collided with a rock cliff face, ejecting the passenger onto the road. source
MHP says the victims were not wearing seatbelts, and that alcohol, drugs, and speed are all considered factors in this crash.
