The FDA is recalling birth control pills sold under the brand name, “Mibelas 24 F-E,” warning that if taken as packaged, could actually lead to pregnancy.
The pills, according to the FDA, were placed in the wrong order, making the first four days placebo tablets.

The mistake in packaging leaves women thinking they are protected when in fact taking the pills could result in an unintended pregnancy.
Those with recalled packs of pills carry the lot number L600518 and the expiration date is May 2018.
Anyone who has consumed the the product is being asked to contact a doctor and return it to the pharmacy immediately.
