Josh Hutcherson, may be one of Hollywood‘s hottest young male stars of the big screen, but that hotness did not convert to viewership on the little screen.
Hutcherson, aka, Peeta Mellark, just appeared on Saturday Night Live and if you didn’t know, you’re not alone.. It would seem Hutcherson’s entire fanbase ignored the telecast despite obscene amounts of money being currently spent promoting the Hunger Games Catching Fire..

Saturday’s broadcast drew a measly 2.0 rating in key demo adults 18-49, which is down a whopping 23% from last week when Lady Gaga was at the hosting helm.
Deadline is reporting that SNL with host Hutcherson, 21, and musical guest Haim – averaged a 4.1 rating, down 14% from last week and the second lowest result for the season behind the October 26 show hosted by Ed Norton.
For comparison, the hosting stint of Hutcherson’s Hunger Games co-star Jennifer Lawrence last season delivered a 4.9 in HH and 2.8 in 18-49. Stay tuned for Hunger Games 3, Catching Hype.
