President Obama said at his news conference today that he is interested in enlisting Mitt Romney’s help in making the government more “customer friendly,” citing Romney’s handling of the winter Olympics. Obama went on to say that during the course of the campaign, Romney presented a lot of ideas that he actually agrees with.

The president’s comments came on the heels of a grueling and mean spirited campaign where Romney was often portrayed as no scruples businessman.

“There are certain aspects of Governor Romney’s record and his ideas that I think could be very helpful,” said Obama. “Well, and to give you one example, I do think he did a terrific job running the Olympics.”

Obama added, “He presented some ideas in the course of the campaign that I actually agree with.”
