“I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” may have been the words spoken by, veteran rock singer, Steven Tyler, Aerosmith, after he took a nasty fall off a South Dakota stage, hurting his head, neck and shoulder. Tyler was talking and conscious, as he was loaded on to a helicopter on his way to an area hospital.
The fall occurred after the sound system stopped working during “Love in an Elevator,” Tyler, 61, began to dance wildly around the stage in an effort to cover for the failure. Witnesses say, Tyler danced backward and off the stage, falling into the crowd. Security rushed to him, taking him backstage.
