The Country Music Awards‘ website and social media accounts have scrubbed all reference to Beyonce and Dixie Chicks on the heels of their CMA performance last night.
Beyonce performed her song, “Daddy Lessons,” with the Chicks, but by Thursday morning, they were poof, deleted from CMAWorld website as well as their social media.
Sources directly connected with the CMAs tell TMZ, the honchos folded to fans who posted racist and other harsh comments. We’re told the honchos were especially concerned about the reaction to Beyonce’s support and the support of the Dixie Chicks for the Black Lives Matter movement. The Nashville Fire Department is on scene of a huge fire burning at the Opryland Hotel.
A spokesman for the NFD told reporters there was a kitchen fire inside the hotel and there could also be a HVAC fire on the roof.

Blake Shelton has purchased his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert‘s now defunct Pink Pistol Boutique location in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
Lambert closed the boutique in May saying “Sometimes you need to close a chapter to build on a new beginning or go back home.” And now Shelton has scooped up the property promising he has a “plan brewing.”

Randy Howard, a well-known country performer was shot and killed by a bounty hunter in Lynchburg, Tennessee on Tuesday evening.
Howard, 65, performed with musicians like Willie Nelson, Gregg Allman, Waylon Jennings, and Charlie Daniels. He released seven albums, his most popular song being, All American Redneck. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says he was shot to death by a bounty hunter who says it was self-defense.
