Julian Lennon, son of ledged, John Lennon, has released lyrics written by his dad, the lyrics have never been worked into a song.

“Little girl I’ve come to stay
“And this time I just have to say
“I love you
“If she turns you down and you’re rejected
“Try again the best you can
“Call to see her when you’re least expected
“Tell her now she’ll understand.”
Julian indicated he is currently working on music to accompany the lyrics, in honor of his dad. Who better to compose music to the late, iconic Beatle’s lyrics than his own son?
The lyrics are on display at a Beatles exhibition in Liverpool, White Feather: The Spirit of Lennon.

At the Staples Center?
Today’s the day. Michael Jackson’s memorial service is today at L.A.’s Staples Center. The crowds will be immense, the media will be everywhere. Movie stars, sports stars, music stars, everybody will be there. This truly might be the biggest pop culture event in years. There are sure to be countless headlines from today’s event so stick with us as we sort through all of it. We’ll keep you up-to-date on all things Michael Jackson.

Finally, David Cook is shooting a vid for his new song “Come Back To Me” at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Thursday (March 5).
The vid is being directed by Gavin Bowden, who has worked with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jason Mraz and Lifehouse.–DAMN
“Come Back To Me” hits radio next month and is the follow up single to “Light On” off Cook’s self-titled album. Sarah Roemer is the lucky girl to be in the vid.
Roemer starred as the love interest of Shia LaBeouf’s character in 2007’s thriller, Disturbia.
I like Cook…here is to hoping he dishes out some good music before buying a multi million dollar house.
