DES PLAINES, IL. (THECOUNT) — Aizen Ravenholm has been identified as the man whose body was discovered following a recreational vehicle fire early Sunday morning in Des Plaines. Ravenholm was 34. He was a local resident.

According to authorities, the fire was reported at approximately 6:45 a.m. on the 2600 block of Scott Street. Police said the RV was parked behind a house and a detached garage at the time the blaze broke out.

Des Plaines firefighters responded to the scene and worked to extinguish the fire. After bringing the flames under control, crews located Ravenholm’s body inside the recreational vehicle.

Officials have not released additional details regarding the circumstances leading up to the fire. The cause of the blaze has not yet been determined, and authorities have not indicated whether foul play is suspected.
