HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – Pajtim Krasniqi, 34, and his wife, Sabrina Krasniqi, 27, were found dead early Wednesday in what authorities have determined to be a murder-suicide at their luxury Beach Club II Hallandale condo in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Sabrina has been identified as the deceased shooter.

Police responded to the 45th-floor oceanfront residence around 12:30 a.m. after receiving an alert from ShotSpotter, a gunfire detection program. Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless bodies of Pajtim and Sabrina on the unit’s balcony. Pajtim had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, while Sabrina appeared to have turned the gun on herself after shooting her husband.
Heartbreaking Scene at Luxury Condo
Authorities confirmed Pajtim was lying face down in a pool of blood, while Sabrina’s body was on her back nearby. Aerial footage captured bullet holes in a glass door and pools of blood on the balcony. Inside the condo, a teddy bear, a box of roses with a heart design, and a still-playing television painted a chilling picture of the events that unfolded.
The shooting was captured by the gunfire detection system, which recorded five quick shots, a brief pause, and then a sixth gunshot.
Family Devastated by the Loss
Pajtim’s sister, Albana Krasniqi Munrett, expressed her devastation in a public Facebook post, describing how her family was shattered by the tragedy.
“Pajtimi’s wife chose to take my brother’s life away from him when she shot 5 bullets into his chest,” Munrett wrote. “The person he trusted the most, the person he chose to spend his life with, was the one who took his away from him. She betrayed him, his love, and his trust. She shattered my family. My siblings and I will never be the same.”
Munrett also voiced fears for her mother’s ability to recover from the heartbreaking loss.
Neighbors React to Tragedy
Nearby residents were alarmed by the commotion. Max Braedlin, who lives across the street, recounted hearing screams followed by gunfire.
“It was scary,” Braedlin told local media. “I hear the shooting, and then after a few minutes, the police cars came. It was a crowded scene.”
Background of the Couple
Sabrina Krasniqi, who also went by her maiden name Sabrina Dzaferovic, was a model with ties to New York City. She gained media attention in 2021 when she appeared in an Inside Edition segment that documented her experiences with catcalling in Times Square.
Both Pajtim and Sabrina were Kosovar Albanian nationals with connections to New York and Peja, Kosovo. Their deaths have drawn significant media attention in Albania, reflecting their international ties.
