MARION COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Gerald Lyman, of Prospect, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday night fatal motorcycle crash in Marion County.
Lyman, 45, was killed in a motorcycle-versus-deer collision in Prospect Tuesday night.

According to reports, Lyman was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Prospect-Upper Sandusky Road, when the bike came into contact with a deer in the roadway around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday.
The collision caused the bike to exit the roadway before colliding with an embankment.
Lyman was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries suffered in the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
