DURHAM COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — David Mark Hilliard, of Efland, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday night fatal motorcycle crash in Durham County.
Hilliard, 52, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash in Durham Wednesday night.

According to reports, Hilliard was operating a Yamaha motorcycle on South Miami Boulevard near T TW Alexander Drive in Durham, when the bike came into contact with a female Nissan Altima driver who failed to stop at a red light around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Hilliard was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The Nissan driver was not injured. It is unclear if she will face any charges.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
