MECKLENBURG COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Diana Marie Douglas, of Charlotte, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday fatal vehicle crash in Mecklenburg County.
Douglas, 41, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Charlotte Tuesday night.

According to reports, Douglas was operating a Mercedes Benz E320 on the 450 block of Remount Road in Charlotte, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 10 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then came into contact with two trees.
Douglas was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
